The Amprobe SM-20-A Sound Meter has been designed to envision compliance with safety rules and perform acoustic analysis by safety engineers, health, industrial and safety offices moreover as an internal control. The SM-20-A offers a PC interface.
They use 2 completely different coefficient filters needed by the IEC651 and ANSI S1.4 kind a pair of for audio filtering. The A-weighting is for general noise sound level and also the C coefficient is for activity sound level of acoustic material management in varied environments (ie 94dB one kHz etc.)
